•	For Square and Triangle functions, the duty cycle can be set. The default value is 0.5. The duty cycle is the fraction of a period in which the function has the high value (for Square waveforms) or for which the function is rising (for Triangle waveforms).

•	If you need to create several random functions that return independent random values, you can now select a Use random seed check box and make sure that the functions have different random seeds.

•	You can use 'first' or 'last' as the first argument to the at and with operators to evaluate an expression at the first or last time of the simulation, respectively.

•	Serendipity elements (rectangular shape elements with no interior nodes) are now available for the PDE interfaces and for structural mechanics. For hexahedral elements, serendipity elements can significantly reduce the degrees of freedom while retaining a similar simulation accuracy.

•	New dimensionless units: [%] or [percent] for percent (%) and [ppm] or [partspermillion] for parts per million (ppm).

•

The extrapolation of unstructured interpolation function has been improved. The extrapolation takes place outside (an approximation) of the convex hull of the point cloud specified by the interpolation data points. Inside the convex hull, the evaluation is typically unchanged compared to earlier versions.
