New and Improved Results and Visualization Functionality

•	There are new options for color tables, including: AuroraAustralis, AuroraBorealis, HeatCamera, HeatCameraLight, JupiterAuroraBorealis, and Twilight.

•	It is now possible to evaluate several expressions in one single node under Derived Values of the following types: Global Evaluation, Point Evaluation, Average, Integration, Maximum, and Minimum.

•	There is improved smoothing of plots, including:

-	Smoothing inside material domains.

-	Smoothing with respect to an expression.

-	A relative smoothing threshold is also available. No smoothing is performed where the discontinuity is greater than the threshold.

These settings are available in the Quality section of the plot’s Settings windows.

•	Filled legends in contour and isosurface plots.

•	A Parameters node is now available under Results for defining local parameters used in postprocessing.

•	Plot annotations are now available in 1D plots and with extended formatting options, including LaTeX markup and the possibility to add a colored background rectangle for better contrast.

•	Improved table surface plots are more flexible regarding the data formats they handle and support discrete plots in addition to continuous plots. A discrete plot with a height attribute results in a “skyscraper-like” plot.

•	There is improved transparency, with a more reliable performance for a range of computers and graphics cards.

•	Streamline plots can now allow for discontinuous streamlines at material boundaries by including the same smoothing settings as other plot types.

•	There are more flexible plot titles, which support evaluating expressions and including the filename of the MPH file.

•	Prefix and suffix strings can now be added in Automatic mode for graph plot legends.

•	You can now control the axis and grid lines independently when exporting images from 1D plots.

•	You can now save data from an Export>Data node in an unstructured VTK file (*.vtu).

•	The default resolution for new plots can now be specified on the Results page in the Preferences dialog box.

•	Two new options in the Transformation list in the Global Matrix Evaluation feature makes it possible to convert from a Maxwell capacitance matrix to a mutual capacitance matrix and vice versa.

•	For reports in the Microsoft Word format, there is now support for custom themes.

•	Mass Properties and Mass Contributions are now included in reports.

•	You can now use global expressions that depend on the solution in many more places than before: The most important places are cut line positions, cut plane positions, arrow positions, and contour and isosurface levels.
