New Functionality in LiveLink™ for PTC® Creo® Parametric™ in Version 5.2a

The LiveLink™ interface now keeps track of the file name and path, as well as the family table instance, and simplified representation, of the synchronized document. These properties are detected during the first synchronization. For subsequent synchronizations, the same properties are used, as long as the specified file is open in PTC® Creo® Parametric™, and the specified instance and simplified representation exist.

With a COMSOL Client installation of LiveLink™ for PTC® Creo® Parametric™, it is now possible to launch a COMSOL Server interface in a separate window by using the newly added Connect to Server button. From the COMSOL Server interface, it is possible to browse, and run apps, including those that are based on geometry synchronized from PTC® Creo® Parametric™ using the LiveLink™ interface.
